Hebrews Bible Study

Throughout the fall of 2025, we will be meeting regularly at the church on Wednesday evenings to study the New Testament epistle to the Hebrews.

The Letter to the Hebrews teaches that Jesus is greater than all the key figures in the Old Testament, including Moses, the angels, and the Jewish high priests, because He is the Son of God and serves as the perfect high priest forever. It explains that the old system of animal sacrifices and temple rituals was only a temporary solution, but Jesus offered Himself as a perfect, once-for-all sacrifice to bring people into a right relationship with God. The letter encourages believers, especially those facing hardship or persecution, to stay strong in their faith, reminding them that Jesus understands their suffering and will help them remain faithful to the end.
